About Olena Moloda

Contemporary Artist. Founder of Moltenism. Molten Glass Painting.

Olena Moloda is a contemporary artist and the founder of Moltenism — an original artistic movement based on molten glass techniques applied to painting. Her work explores transformation, energy, and material tension, creating large-scale contemporary artworks designed for modern architectural and interior spaces.

Based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Olena Moloda’s gallery presents a curated body of original works that merge fine art, material experimentation, and long-term artistic vision. Each artwork is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece created through a proprietary process involving heat, glass, and layered pigments.

The Moltenism Art Movement

Moltenism is not a decorative style — it is a material-driven art practice.
By working with molten glass rather than traditional paint alone, Olena Moloda introduces unpredictability, physical depth, and controlled chaos into each composition.

This process results in artworks that cannot be replicated, printed, or mass-produced. Every piece carries physical evidence of its creation: flow, fracture, tension, and solidification.

Moltenism artworks are collected for:

  • private collections

  • contemporary interiors

  • long-term art investment

  • architectural and design projects

Artistic Philosophy

At the core of Olena Moloda’s work is the idea of transformation under pressure — how materials, ideas, and identities change when exposed to heat, time, and resistance.

Her paintings do not follow trends. Instead, they are created with longevity in mind: visually powerful today, conceptually relevant tomorrow, and materially durable for decades.

Each artwork is accompanied by clear provenance and documentation, making the collection suitable for serious collectors and first-time art investors alike.

Gallery & Art Events

The Olena Moloda Gallery functions both as an exhibition space and a creative environment. In addition to showcasing original artworks, the gallery hosts art evenings, private viewings, and curated creative events for small groups.

These events are designed for:

  • collectors seeking direct dialogue with the artist

  • visitors interested in contemporary art processes

  • private groups looking for cultural experiences in Las Palmas

Moltenism is inspired by the texture and fluidity of molten glass. It’s not just a visual style, but a physical material I invented through years of experimentation. This medium combines the transparency of watercolor, the gloss of oil, and the fast-drying freedom of acrylics—yet it is unlike any of them.

Moltenism is about transformation. It’s about capturing the moment something changes—melts, fuses, erupts. I work in layers, letting the texture speak as much as the color. Each piece holds motion inside it, like lava caught mid-flow.

For me, Moltenism is not only a technique; it is a philosophy of change and a way of seeing the world.

My art isn’t meant to be quietly observed. It’s meant to be felt—with your eyes, your skin, your gut. If it moves you, even slightly, then it’s done its job.
