Description
Las Canteras 156 is an original one-of-a-kind oil painting on canvas by Walter Zakarlo, inspired by the Canary Islands coast and the atmosphere of Las Canteras in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The painting belongs to Walter’s location-based emotional expressionist work, where the character of a place is conveyed through color, light, movement and memory rather than exact photographic detail. The long horizontal composition emphasizes the openness of the coast and Atlantic horizon.
At 200 × 100 cm, the work is scaled for a substantial wall and can serve as a focal original in a living room, villa, hotel, office, restaurant or other contemporary interior.
