At our workshop in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, we make custom wooden stretcher frames, either with stretched canvas or without fabric.

We work with professional artists, students, hobby painters, art schools and anyone who needs a prepared support in a particular size. We can make almost any format, from small canvases to large works with a maximum height of two metres.

Made-to-measure wooden stretcher frames

Each stretcher frame is made to the dimensions requested. You can order:

a wooden frame without canvas;
a frame with canvas already stretched;
standard or custom measurements;
square, rectangular, vertical or horizontal formats;
small, medium or large canvases.

If you need a size that is not available in shops, we can make it specifically for your project.

Stretcher frames with 100% cotton Italian canvas

We use high-quality Italian canvas made from 100% cotton. Choose between fine grain and medium grain.

Fine grain suits detailed work, portraits, precise techniques and smoother surfaces. Medium grain has a more visible and versatile texture for acrylic, oil and other painting techniques. We stretch the fabric carefully to produce a firm, even surface ready for painting.

Linen canvas to order

We can also make canvases with linen, a support valued by professional artists for its strength, stability and natural texture. As not every variety is kept in the workshop, linen canvases are made to order and may require a little longer. Ask us about availability, grain and lead time.

Fast production in Las Palmas

The usual production time for a cotton canvas or stretcher frame is approximately one to two days. Timing can vary according to dimensions, quantity, fabric type and material availability. We confirm the lead time before starting large orders or special formats.

For artists, academies and professional projects

We prepare supports for oil and acrylic painting, portraits, abstract art, commissions, art classes, exhibitions, decorative projects and professional interiors. We can also make several identical frames for a series or a complete project.

What size can you order?

We manufacture custom dimensions within the technical limits of the material. The maximum canvas height is two metres. For large formats, we choose the appropriate profile thickness and assess the need for cross braces so the structure remains firm and stable.

If you are unsure what you need, tell us the width and height, whether you want canvas included, your preferred fabric and whether the work will have a floating frame. We will recommend a suitable option.

Send the exact dimensions, quantity, whether you need canvas, your preferred cotton grain or linen, and the approximate date required. You can include a photograph or project reference. We confirm the price, availability and production time before starting.

Every stretcher frame is assembled individually. We check the joints, square the corners and control the canvas tension to provide a clean, stable support ready for painting.
