An original painting created for your space

A commission is useful when you know where the work will hang but cannot find a finished piece in the right proportions. Using a photograph of the interior, we can study size, orientation and the relationship with the sofa, dining table, bed, reception desk or other elements.

How a commission works

1. Tell us about the project. Send wall measurements, an interior photograph, approximate size and useful references for the subject or mood.
2. Define the format. We review the proportions, orientation and scale.
3. Agree on the artistic direction. Depending on the artist and work, we discuss composition, palette, references and overall character.
4. Receive the proposal and quotation. The price depends mainly on the artist, technique, dimensions and complexity.
5. The artwork is created as an original. The result retains the artist’s language rather than becoming a mechanical copy.

Visualisation before choosing the size

For large works, we can visualise scale and placement on a photograph of the interior. This makes it easier to compare formats before commissioning and helps avoid a painting that is too small, too large or poorly proportioned.

Framing, stretcher frames and installation

Our workshop also makes custom floating frames, provides canvas stretching and can coordinate installation for local projects. We also ship outside Gran Canaria; packing and delivery depend on the work’s dimensions and format.

How long does a commissioned painting take?

The artist confirms the lead time according to technique, format, complexity and schedule. Include your required date when asking for a quotation.

Can I see how it might look on my wall?

We can use a photograph of your interior to study format and placement. The visualisation is a guide to scale; the final painting remains an original work with its own result.

Does the quotation include framing and installation?

We agree on presentation, transport and installation according to your needs. Ask for these options to be itemised in the proposal so you can compare the complete cost.
